RV Investigator Voyage IN2024_V01 Underway Organic Sulfur (DMS, DMSO and DMSP) Data

This dataset contains continuous underway measurements of dimethyl sulfide (DMS), dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and dimethylsulfoniopropionate (DMSP) collected during the Multidisciplinary Investigations of the Southern Ocean (MISO) voyage aboard RV Investigator (IN2024_V01) between January and March 2024. Measurements were acquired using the Organic Sulfur Sequential Chemical Analysis Robot (OSSCAR), a semi-autonomous purge-and-trap system coupled to a custom chemiluminescence detector. Surface seawater samples were collected from the ship's underway seawater supply to produce high-resolution measurements of dissolved sulfur compounds along the voyage track. The dataset includes analyte concentrations, sampling times and locations, peak characteristics, quality control flags and associated metadata, providing a resource for investigations of marine sulfur biogeochemistry, phytoplankton dynamics and air–sea sulfur exchange.
