Bluelink Ocean Reanalysis - BRAN_2016

Updated: 2019-05-17

Data here are from a Bluelink ReANalysis (BRAN) experiment simulating from 1994 up to recent years, of near-global, 10-km resolution (eddy-resolving) ocean general circulation model. Data assimilation adjusts the ocean state to observations of temperature, salinity, and surface height. Model output is a realistic reconstruction of mesoscale upper ocean dynamics around Australia for this period. BRAN_2015 and BRAN_2016 include substantial updates on the previous version (BRAN3p5), and output is experimental. BRAN_2016 includes minor updates to BRAN_2015, and starts from an earlier date.
