EnKORe

EnKORe stands for the EnKF Ocean Reanalysis. It represents the first EnKF global eddy-resolving ocean reanalysis. EnKORe was conducted for the period 2011-2022, with 2011 considered a spin-up year. The EnKF data assimilation system used OFAM3 ocean model (MOM5, 0.1-degree resolution for 75S-75N domain) and EnKF/EnOI hybrid DA (EnKF-C, 48 dynamic and 144 static members, 3-day cycle, DEnKF scheme). The system assimilated remote SLA and SST observations, and in-situ T and S observations. Variables include daily mean sea water salinity (salt), sea water potential temperature (temp), zonal velocity (u), meridional velocity (v) and sea level (eta_t).
