Ocean Forecasting Australian Model (v. 3.0) Products - OFAM3_BGC_SPINUP_03
Updated: 2019-05-17
Data here are from an OFAM (Ocean Forecasting Australian Model) experiment simulating 1993 to 2013 of near-global, with a 10-km resolution (eddy-resolving) ocean general circulation model coupled with biogeochemistry. The model produces realistic variability of sea level, surface temperature and chlorophyll a, and model circulation is realistic in most aspects. Model output is suitable for broader analysis to better understand upper ocean dynamics and ocean variability at mid- and low latitudes. SPINUP_03 includes substantial updates on the previous version SPINUP_01 (such as forcing with bulk formula), and output is experimental.
