RV Investigator ACS data collected during voyage IN2023_V06

This dataset contains hyperspectral measurements of particulate absorption, particulate attenuation, and the derived first-order particulate scattering coefficient collected using a Wetlabs Absorption and Attenuation Sensor (ACS) during the Marine National Facility RV Investigator voyage IN2023_V06, Understanding Eddy Interactions and Their Impacts in the East Australian Current System. Data were collected continuously from the ship's underway seawater system between 8 October and 1 November 2023, spanning 87 wavelengths (400–735 nm) at 25 Hz. The voyage sampled mesoscale eddies and frontal features within the East Australian Current. ACS data were quality controlled, binned to 30-second intervals, and aligned with the ship's underway observations. These measurements provide high-resolution information on the optical properties of suspended particles and support studies of ocean optics, biogeochemistry, and ecosystem dynamics.
